Varieties

  • Ceylon Cinnamon (True Cinnamon / Cinnamomum verum) – premium quality, naturally sweet, sourced from Sulawesi or Maluku.

  • Cassia Cinnamon (Cinnamomum burmannii / Indonesian Cinnamon) – more common, strong aroma, more affordable, highly demanded in Europe, America, and the Middle East.


Product Forms

  • Stick / Quills: whole cinnamon sticks, length approx. 15–25 cm.

  • Powder: produced from ground sticks or bark.

  • Chip / Cut: broken pieces of bark, commonly used for extract or industrial purposes.

  • Volatile Oil: min. 1.5–2% for Cassia; premium grades higher (Ceylon ≥ 2%)

  • Color: dark brown / reddish, uniform

  • Impurities: max. 2–3% (fragments, dust, foreign matter)
